JOIN US The person in the role of Supervisor, Industrial Instrumentation Services, is responsible for the management, engagement, and development of their team to ensure the achievement of objectives in terms of service level, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in the areas of plant start-ups/shutdowns, industrial maintenance, and personnel outsourcing agreements at client sites. Through their leadership and supervision, they ensure that the team works optimally and safely, in compliance with existing standards and procedures, and within a continuous improvement mindset.
What You Bring To The Table Ensure the management, engagement, and development of the team:
- Be responsible for welcoming and onboarding new employees under their supervision.
- Oversee and develop skills development plans for team members.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and selection process.
- Ensure that health and safety policies, as well as other Laurentide Controls policies, are known and properly implemented by all team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and follow-ups with team members in accordance with established deadlines and objectives.
- Identify and promote emerging future leaders while planning their own succession to ensure enough senior employees are available to mentor new hires.
Ensure The Achievement Of Operational And Administrative Efficiency Objectives
- Provide appropriate support for tools and PPE so the team has everything necessary to complete their tasks efficiently and safely.
- Establish quality and performance standards and ensure their application in the field during the execution of mandates.
- Manage the team’s vacation and leave schedule to maintain adequate service levels.
- Approve timesheets and expense reports for team members.
Ensure the achievement of service level, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives:
- Maintain a healthy and positive business relationship and adequate communication with clients throughout each mandate.
- In collaboration with planning, assess current and upcoming workloads to forecast resource utilization and/or hiring needs.
- Work closely with the Service Director, sales teams, project managers, and clients to meet everyone's needs with the services provided by their team.
- Evaluate customer satisfaction with their team’s performance and share feedback to reinforce strengths and act on areas needing improvement.
Essential Skills And Qualifications To Be Successful
- Strong ability to develop and communicate clear plans aligned with company objectives.
- Experience in managing technical personnel.
- Focused on both internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Demonstrates leadership, team spirit, a sense of responsibility, autonomy, and dynamism.
- Experience in customer service or sales environments is an asset.
- Experience in project management is an asset.
- Ability to build interpersonal and business relationships with clients.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- Passion and integrity, with a strong desire to positively impact the company’s success.
- Strong written and spoken French communication skills required
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills would be considered an asset.
