Established in 2016, SureCo has been at the forefront of leveraging the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) to provide quality, affordable healthcare options. Our commitment to driving change in the healthcare industry is reflected in our advanced Enrollment Platform, which offers access to over 5,000 health plan options from 140+ carriers. We are looking to hire a Migration Specialist with a strong, proven background in both health insurance and customer support to work with our sales and operations teams to successfully onboard new and returning customers.

Position Summary: The Migration Specialist position is essential to SureCo's mission and vision. The ideal candidate will be deadline driven, possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional project and process management competencies, and have exemplary time management skills.

Migration Specialist Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to)

  • The Migration Specialist is responsible for the planning, management and execution of all onboarding tasks related to the migration of new customers into SureCo’s Enrollment Platform.
  • Guide new clients through the set-up of their new ICHRA benefit in coordination with brokers, account specialists, and other internal stakeholders (sales, contracts, compliance, billing and insurance carrier specialists)
  • Coordinate and lead calls with customer HR representative, brokers and internal partners as needed throughout the onboarding process to ensure clear communication, accurate set up and best-in-class customer experience
  • Perform QA to ensure Platform is properly configured to align with customer needs based on quote and post-sale discussions
  • Create employee enrollment materials and maintain implementation documentation
  • Create, develop, and maintain various reporting requests
  • Educate customer on compliance and administrative best practices to prepare them post migration on our enrollment, billing and ongoing customer and employee support
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings and brings insight on trends to the department
  • Collaborate with other departments to align with the company's overall strategy and suggest opportunities for operational and product improvements
  • Weekly processing of company census records
  • Assist with various projects
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications And Skills Needed For Migration Specialist

  • At least 3 years of experience in customer support/service (Preferably in health insurance)
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources is a plus!
  • Training and development experience or experience in education/teaching preferred
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be highly organized
  • Intermediate-Advanced level work experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point software applications.
  • Professional presentation with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to speak publicly to large groups (live and virtual) and record presentations
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a startup environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build a collaborative dynamic and positive culture with a remote team

Compensation: This is a 100% remote position (aligned with US Pacific Time) with an annual salary of $70,000.

A successful trainee will demonstrate the ability to be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to work independently during our busy end of year season (Oct/Nov/Dec).
