YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

We are looking for a Lab Technician in #106- 8255 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, B.C. V3N OB9 CAN. Your mission will be to:

Position Summary:

• Conduct visual and documentation inspections, and photograph samples for special projects as needed.
• Organize and file photographs and associated inspection documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare, homogenize, and weigh samples for analytical testing.

Qualifications Required

• Post-Secondary school education or equivalent experience
• Detail oriented with accurate record keeping skills.

Qualifications Desired

• Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
• Strong computer skills
• Positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment Adapt to a changing environment
• Work both independently and as part of a team Must be able to learn quickly

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Review LIMS summary reports to plan and organize daily work

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) when conducting following work:

• Other duties as required

• At any time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner.

Pay: $21.48- $22.61 CAD
