Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Apparel Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction within our apparel department. This position requires a blend of business development skills, effective communication, and a passion for fashion. As an Apparel Associate, you will engage with customers, manage accounts, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.

Duties

• Research and gather potential new contacts/lead for Spirit Wear, Team Uniforms and Gift Items
• Cold Call every School in the territory that has been assigned.
• Prospect Sports leagues for major team uniform contracts
• Gather pertinent information for sales presentations.
• Prepare contracts and pricing as per current Promotions and Services in place.
• Deliver presentations in person.
• Follow Up – confirm understanding on the customer’s part – address questions.
• Establish final decision-making process and follow up accordingly.
• Secure Contracts on the Pegasus Quoting platform
• Gather information required to service the customer.
• Signed contracts.
• Artwork and related specifics
• Financial details (Pricing, fundraising etc.)
• Update Sales Database Daily
• Maintain the Pegasus system updated (OMARS)
• Communicate with customers during the customer journey including post delivery.
• Maintain a superior level of service.
• Prepare Status Reports on a regular basis as required by management.
• Participate in trade shows as required.
• Attend all Scheduled Sales Meetings.
• Provide detailed reporting and receipts for all expenses incurred in accordance with company policy.
• Participate in strategy sessions.
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Education or Sports Sales, preferably within the apparel industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking sales activities.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and customer preferences.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors while maintaining positive relationships.
• A passion for fashion and an understanding of current apparel trends is highly desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
