DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AUTOMOTIVE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, maintaining a pipeline of at least 25 active prospects and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including regular business reviews, anticipating evolving customer needs, and serving as a liaison between clients and operational teams.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client proposals, including quotations and timely bid submissions in coordination with Tender Management.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all commercial activities in the CRM system, ensuring updates align with company guidelines and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and international teams, supporting overseas campaigns, hosting visiting stakeholders, and contributing to company goals aligned with the Hellmann Sales Strategy.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and spoken Quebec French, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- Possess a minimum of 10 years related experience in sales, marketing, and customer service
- Proven track record of increasing sales year over year
- Possess a minimum six years sales experience in freight forwarding
- Proficient knowledge of all freight forwarding products, and Partner network
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills are critical
- Ability to travel in-territory 50% or more and valid driver’s license required
