Base Salary: $120,000 – $125,000 CAD

A leading global financial institution is seeking an Associate to join its Structured Finance and Corporate Banking team in Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance and corporate banking transactions.
- Collaborate with international teams to cross-sell banking products such as derivatives, capital markets, and trade finance.
- Conduct in-depth due diligence and assess associated risks across legal, technical, and financial aspects of transactions.
- Prepare financial models, sensitivity analyses, credit applications, and internal approval memos.
- Monitor and manage existing portfolio transactions, including credit reviews, waivers, and amendments.
- Coordinate KYC, AML, and onboarding processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Produce pitch books, marketing materials, and account plans to support client engagement and new business development.
- Conduct sector-specific market research and track industry trends.
- Participate in client meetings, bank syndications, and industry events alongside senior team members.
- Contribute to budgeting, internal reporting, and ad hoc analyses to support broader team objectives.
