Your Opportunity:
Manages various schedules by coordinating resources and determining appropriate timing and priority. Composes memos and letters for signature, proofreads prepared correspondence for accuracy, grammar and proper format. Determines priority of incoming tasks and responsibilities. Reviews and guides portfolio and/or departmental administrative support staff on form, accuracy and content of correspondence that requires executive signature. Composes, edits and formats documents, reports and correspondence according to established templates, procedures or specific instructions. Enters and tracks action requests and updates on the tracking system and bring forth due dates. Prepares and disseminates agenda and minutes to support operational functions. Follows up with various stakeholders to resolve issues and discrepancies. Provides comprehensive administrative support for Zone Clinical Department Executive Committees. Provides support to Zone Clinical Department Head for Physician Periodic Review and Performance Assessments, including tracking, meeting arrangements and document submission. Provide support for meeting including meeting organization, minute taking, document preparation and necessary follow-up as required. Completes the end-to-end process of quality assurance by tracking data in a system or across multiple systems internal and external to the organization. Gathers, compiles and formats data or information, generates and prepares reports from information. Respond to internal and external client inquiries through reporting, researching and working with other departments to ensure positive functionality of the programs. Prepares reports and any ad hoc reports as requested and special projects to assist the Manager/Director in decision making.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Four years of related health care experience. Three to five year’s administrative experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Considerable working knowledge of general of AHS systems and processes. Considerable working knowledge of office software databases (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) to respond to action requests and to prepare and edit correspondence and respond to stakeholder inquiries. Excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
