Looking to join a group of 6 forward-thinking, hardworking, passionate NPs?
Are you an NP planning a move to beautiful central Vancouver Island, or looking to change your current place of practice? Maybe you are a new NP looking to start your career in a collaborative, supportive environment where you can be mentored during your first years of practice? Look no further!
The Flowerstone Family Health Clinic is seeking 3 Nurse Practitioners to join a team of 6 NPs delivering longitudinal primary care to patients in the Oceanside area. The beautiful modern clinic is in Qualicum Beach and aims to provide attachment for community members in the Oceanside area (Bowser, Nanoose Bay, Errington, Coombs, Parksville, and Qualicum First Nations) who currently do not have a primary care provider.
In this service contract position the Nurse Practitioner will work as part of an inter-professional team that includes 6 medical office assistants, registered nurse, social worker, clinic manager, clinical pharmacist and a therapy dog. We collaborate closely with local physician specialists, community health authority services and other health care services. - Delivery of extended hours of care, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. This will be facilitated by the expansion and will potentially allow for flexible working hours.
- Delivery of same-day access for urgently needed primary care through the NP-PCC
- Delivery of comprehensive primary care services through a team-based care approach
- Collaborative and coordinated care with diagnostic services, hospital care, specialty care and community services for all patients.

Qualicum Beach is a quaint and unique coastal community that offers natural recreation, an enjoyable and relaxed lifestyle, and a temperate climate.
