Are you detail-driven and highly organized? Cougar Helicopters is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Safety & Quality team. If you're passionate about structure, compliance, and working behind the scenes to help flight operations stay safe and efficient — this is the role for you.
This is a regular, full-time position with flexibility to support life’s needs.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, format, and track changes to manuals, forms, reports, and procedures
- Maintain documentation for the Emergency Response Manual, Safety Management System, Health, Safety & Environment Manual, Quality Assurance Manual, and more
- Serve as the software administrator for the Safety Management System
- Prepare and distribute safety communications and updates
- Organize meetings, training sessions, and take/distribute minutes
- Maintain accurate electronic records and safety bulletin boards
- Assist with department projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
What You Bring
- Diploma (2-year) in office administration, records management, document control, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in a safety, quality, or documentation-focused environment
- Experience administering or supporting web-based systems or databases (asset)
- Comfortable navigating configuration tools, user permissions, and system workflows
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written communication and high typing accuracy
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work well independently or in a team
- Familiarity with aviation, Safety Management Systems, or Laserfiche (asset)
