We’re supporting a growing organization in its search for a Controller to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while playing a key role in long-term planning and strategic decision-making. What You’ll Do
- Lead all core financial functions, including general accounting, AP/AR, and monthly close.
- Deliver accurate, timely internal and external financial reporting.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization.
- Develop and enhance reporting dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tools.
- Support costing, pricing, and quoting methodologies to improve margin insight.
- Collaborate with operations and IT to implement reporting tools and automate workflows.
- Monitor compliance with IFRS and internal controls; oversee tax-related matters with external partners.
- Mentor and develop a small, capable finance team.
What You Bring
- A degree in finance, accounting, or business; CPA designation (or in progress).
- 3–5 years of well-rounded experience in financial reporting and analysis (Public accounting firm experience with client portfolios in manufacturing or distribution is a plus).
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools such as Power BI is an asset.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and corporate accounting principles.
- An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership.
