Inventory and Logisitics Technicians
About the role
Reporting to the Inventory & Logistics Lead, the Technician will be responsible for the daily assigned duties related to inventory and receiving. The purpose of a technician is to own the responsibility of reading packing sheets, quality inspecting product coming in and out of inventory/receiving and loading product into boxes and onto pallets.
The Technician reports to the Inventory and Logistic Lead/Manager.
Responsibilities
- Follow all SOPs and ensure all inventory and receiving activities adhere to Health Canada and Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Assist in sanitization and organization of Inventory vaults and receiving areas.
- Assist in all postproductions (GACP/GMP) activities.
- Communicate and escalate any deviations within Inventory or post processing to the direct report.
- Calibrate, operate, clean, and maintain equipment used: assist in the packaging process when necessary.
- Communicate opportunities for improvement or change in process, technique, or methods to the direct report.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and working areas.
- Observe and follow all health and safety practices.
- Other duties as required.
- Understand and follow Vault and Shipping/Receiving, and Ample procedures Which Include but are not limited to;
- Maintaining Accurate and up to date records of Inventory and Inventory movements on both Excel and Ample as well as the Issuance and Receiving Logs
- Maintaining Accurate and up to date records of packaging inventory
- Complete incoming and outgoing documentation for both non-cannabis and cannabis inventory.
- Maintain Calendar and schedule for GACP, GMP
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and capable of running Ample software or equivalent.
- Willing to work weekends/evenings as needed.
- This position requires work in a warm and cold temperature environment throughout your shift.
- Be required to move in a full range of motion from standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting 40lbs as necessary.
- Maintain efficiency to keep up with the rate of production, while maintaining accuracy.
