Overview of the Role & Team

The International Student Advisor is responsible for promoting and selling ILAC programs to prospective students, while providing prompt and informative responses to inquiries to ensure exceptional customer experience. This role offers valuable learning opportunities and potential for growth within the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the full sales cycle for assigned leads, including inbound and outbound sales activities such as answering emails and calls, lead follow-up, student qualification, and closing walk-in clients.
  • Promote and offer ILAC programs, including ESL, ILAC International College, and Higher Education pathways, to both new and existing students.
  • Provide personalized advising through one-on-one meetings, group info sessions, info tables, webinars, and student events — both virtual and in-person.
  • Assist students throughout the application and enrollment process, including second-program counseling for Career programs, documentation support, and guiding them from inquiry to graduation.
  • Organize and participate in workshops and events to showcase Higher Education opportunities for current ILAC students.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless student experience, focused on satisfaction, retention, and academic success.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all ILAC programs, services, admissions requirements, payment options, deadlines, and future career pathways.
  • Ensure monthly and annual sales targets and related activities (e.g., scheduled calls, student meetings) are met.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students to support their journey and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Greet students and visitors warmly, representing ILAC and its brands professionally and positively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support student success and institutional growth.

Requirements

  • University or college degree in business or related field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience;
  • Complete fluency in English and Korean;
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in Education industry, Hotel, Travel, and Tourism, or professional customer facing capacity;
  • Experience in student counselling, academic advising and/or student support is an asset.
  • Excellent customer care and service excellence attitude;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Flexible work schedule;
