Position Overview:

Join the worlds largest Caterpillar dealer! Finning is currently seeking two (2) safety focused, career minded individuals for our state-of-the-art warehouse located in West Edmonton to support our Afternoon Shift (Mon to Fri – 3:00 – 11:30).

As a warehouse person, your duties include but are not limited to shipping and receiving of Caterpillar parts and components, general warehouse maintenance, and assisting with inventory control.

Job Description:

Duties:

  • Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment
  • Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
  • Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external)
  • Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment
  • Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock
  • Other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset
  • Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
  • A strong commitment to safety is imperative

**NOTE**

  • Afternoon Shift runs Mon – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
  • Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA
  • Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
