Job Description
As a Market Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing market risk across various portfolios. You will work closely with trading desks and senior management to ensure that risk is effectively measured and managed.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze market risk exposures and provide insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with trading desks to understand their risk profiles and strategies.
- Develop and maintain risk models to assess market risk.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in market risk or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
