About This Position We are looking for an Ops Processor to join our Policy Owner Services Department.
Responsibilities Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Screen, process, and verify policy change applications, including End of Term, Conversions, and Reinstatements
- Process contract change report accordingly
- Contact clients or representatives regarding application deficiencies
- Sort and distribute applications to appropriate associates
- Research and process Increasing Benefit Riders and manage overpayments accordingly
- Handle overpayment scenarios for policies with pre-renewal End of Term conversions or other change requests
- Input accounting transactions, miscellaneous money entries, and reports
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts
- Support the team with other administrative and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting would be an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle tight deadlines during peak periods
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
