About the role

About This Position We are looking for an Ops Processor to join our Policy Owner Services Department.

Responsibilities Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Screen, process, and verify policy change applications, including End of Term, Conversions, and Reinstatements
  • Process contract change report accordingly
  • Contact clients or representatives regarding application deficiencies
  • Sort and distribute applications to appropriate associates
  • Research and process Increasing Benefit Riders and manage overpayments accordingly
  • Handle overpayment scenarios for policies with pre-renewal End of Term conversions or other change requests
  • Input accounting transactions, miscellaneous money entries, and reports
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of suspense accounts
  • Support the team with other administrative and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting would be an asset
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently in fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to handle tight deadlines during peak periods
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Bilingualism would be considered an asset
