Role/Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)- 3 days/week onsite required, Local candidates only
Experience Level: 5-10 years

You are: A true technical and/or domain ninja. Comfortable working in the quickly growing nature of profitable startups and have a “can do” attitude and are willing to take on any task thrown your way.
You will:
· Help to develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence.
· Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank/other esteemed client.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with software engineering background who is passionate about running large-scale, multi-tenant distributed data systems for customers that expect a very high level of availability. In this role, you will be responsible for the availability, performance, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of the data systems.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in hands-on global production system deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in on-prem and cloud infrastructure (AWS), scripting languages, Linux skills, automation tools, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Proven experience in systems performance analysis and debugging in a Linux environment.
- Experience in software development and scripting: bash and python are required.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, or Kubernetes.
- Experience on SQL.
- Process Automation Engineering or development background as required.
- ITIL processes and ServiceNow for ticketing
- Collaborating with product development engineers to identify, implement and report on service level indicators and objectives.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
