About the role
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced PowerApps / Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade business solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform suite. The ideal candidate will be adept in both Model-Driven and Canvas Apps, have strong expertise with Power Automate and Dataverse, and possess a solid understanding of integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. This role involves owning the end-to-end development lifecycle, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to architectural planning and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Model-Driven and Canvas Apps tailored to business requirements.
- Develop Power Automate Cloud Flows to streamline processes and integrate with Dataverse, email systems, and third-party services.
- Create and debug custom plugins and components using C#/.NET for advanced business logic.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers; promote coding standards and best practices.
- Manage user access through configuration of roles, permissions, and security policies in Power Platform environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools for continuous integration and automated deployments.
- Partner with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define and deliver end-to-end application solutions.
- Develop reusable components and libraries that align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
- Ensure applications are secure, maintainable, scalable, and compliant with industry best practices and IT policies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proficiency with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Business Process Flows.
- Strong knowledge of role-based security models within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience managing full SDLC workflows, including deployment via GitHub or other CI/CD tools.
- Expertise in system integration using REST APIs, HTTP connectors, SOAP services, and Azure Service Bus.
- Solid understanding of multi-tier architecture, client-server communication, and best practices in enterprise application development. Preferred / Desired Skills
- Proficient in C# for plugin and custom component development.
- Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps pipelines, and iterative release methodologies.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, TypeScript).
- Exposure to solution architecture and a history of contributing to high-level design discussions.
- Knowledge of modern technologies including AI/ML, Microservices, and Cloud-native architectures (especially Azure).
- Experience working with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Azure DevOps for enterprise-level deployments and reporting.
