Job Summary:
As a Senior Application Support in the Software Management-Payment IT Operation within the Enterprise IT department, you'll play a crucial role in supporting both projects and daily operations. Your responsibilities will include automating processes, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration. Additionally, you'll restore system disruptions, perform disaster recovery tests, and conduct extensive troubleshooting activities. Your contributions will be key to the success of our cutting-edge payments infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining, implementing, modifying, and supporting a variety of applications on various platforms and providing a superior level of support to external and internal clients.
- Taking full responsibility for multiple applications by monitoring and reporting on all events affecting the availability and making sure SLAs are met.
- Analyzing and solving complex issues when required including system performance issues, ensuring all incidents are responded and resolved following the established standards and agreements.
- Setting up different environments according to projects, operational or client’s needs.
- Support the configuration of Azure, AWS VPC or Direct Connect networks as needed.
- Performing disaster recovery tests.
- Acting as a project resource for Software Management team, coordinates and liaises with internal teams as required
- Preparing implementation plan, technical support document.
- Coordinating change and release schedule, preparing deployment runbook, performing deployment and post deployment validation.
- Providing recommendations for operational excellency.
- Provide 24x7 operational support.
What you'll have:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a large-scale IT environment on either Software Development, Software Support or DevOps.
- University degree in computer science, computer engineer, or equivalent.
- Experience in providing support to questions or issues spanning multiple interconnected areas (software, infrastructure and network, systems, platform, security, vendors…).
- Experience in application support, design, development, and operational processes is required.
- Experience in Banking and financial industry, especially in Payment and Banking, is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
- Experience with setting up cloud environments (AWS/Azure) for deployment.
- Experience in using SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, etc.) is required
- Experience in scripting or programming (shell, Perl, PHP, C or Java…)
- Experience in operating and supporting Web-Based applications is required
- Experience in Java Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Jetty) is required
- Experience with CI /CD pipeline
- Experiences with deployment tools Docker, Chef, Git
- Experience in monitoring/reporting tools (Dynatrace, Spluck)
- Experience in mapping business requirements into technical requirements
- Experience in networks and firewalls – can work with network team to perform connectivity setup and troubleshooting
Nice to have:
- Knowledge with MuleSoft
- Knowledge with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
- Knowledge using ActiveMQ, AMQ, Azure Service Bus
- Knowledge of Direct Connect networks
- Knowledge of mTLS, Certificate management.
- Knowledge in IT management best practices: Problem, Incident, Release, and Change Management.
Salary: $80,000-$97,500
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
