About the role

This role is key in jointly developing and executing cross-channel marketing strategies that align with our brands and business goals.

Objectives

  1. Enhance and grow online presence and engagement via Websites, Google, and Social Media

  2. Ensure all CGoC marketing strategies align with and accurately convey Club culture, brands, and business goals

  3. Keep Brand Guideline criteria central in all communications

Major Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Social Media for CGoC

  • Jointly develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation

  • Manage an editorial calendar that balances storytelling, promotions, and real-time engagement

  • Curate and post relevant and topical content that represents CGoC’s vision and voice is regularly posted on CGoC’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms

  • Work within a defined budget to optimize ad spend for maximum ROI

  • Foster and grow a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content promptly and professionally

  • Create and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns to increase organic and paid web traffic

  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of social media and digital marketing campaigns (e.g. video views, reach, engagement, cost/lead)

  • Make data-driven recommendations and suggestions for ad improvement

  • Liaise with communications committee for editorial oversight and brand adherence

Collaborate with managers & GMs to ensure campaigns for each Club are timely, engaging, buzz worthy, compelling, and on brand

Videography & Photography Content

  • Draft shot lists and mood boards for content creator shoots

  • Edit videography to create reels & ad content to promote the Clubs to prospective members, when necessary

  • Guide the creation of engaging, relevant, and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to align with brand messaging and goals

  • Coordinate with and support influencers to support brand engagement, if required

  • Produce, write scripting, and assist in the editing process of all video productions, when necessary

  • Where necessary, coordinate photography & videography (incl. talent acquisition, coordination with department man-agers and Club staff, etc.) projects for web, digital, and print use

Management of Website Content

  • Research and identify areas to optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic

  • Liaise with GMs, executive team and agencies to ensure all CGoC websites are kept up-to-date and run optimally, if necessary

  • Build and publish new pages for new programs, events, promotions, and offerings in collaboration with GMs and de-partment managers, if necessary

  • Where necessary, work with website developers, agencies, and copywriters to design and develop new modules & pages for the websites

  • Manage and maintain any data changes with information from department managers (i.e. schedules or changes in offerings/staff), if necessary

  • Manage and regularly update event calendars for all Clubs

  • Gather web analytics (page views, time spent on each page, referral site) & report monthly

  • Gather web analytics (web leads) for each Club & report weekly

  • Coordinate with and support IT upgrades to website infrastructure, where necessary

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly Communications meeting with communications team and GMs to update on ad performance, upcoming and ongoing projects, etc.

  • Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, when necessary

  • Coordinate with CGoC’s Graphic Designer, when necessary

Working Relationships/Contacts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including General Managers, department managers, senior executive team members, designers, content creators, and other stakeholders, to ensure cohesive and effective digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Skills/Knowledge/Attributes

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager or a related role

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, advertising, and best practices

  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

  • Strong copywriting and content creation abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to the CGoC’s brand voice

  • Creative thinking and ability to stay updated with industry trends

  • Proficiency in social media planning tools, i.e. Microsoft 365 tools, Sprout Social, etc.

  • Experience with web development is considered an asset

  • Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Certifications in digital marketing or social media management are a plus

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
