About the role
- (Internal Title: Business System Implementation I)
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional business requirements with a focus on operational workflows and system integration
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of rail access control system data incorporated into project deliverables and operational dashboards
- Facilitate stakeholder communication between business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure product alignment and operational readiness
- Assist with data mapping, transformation, and customization activities under guidance
- Support project planning through the preparation of weekly/monthly reports and coordination of stakeholder meetings
- Maintain strict confidentiality of operational and project-related materials and sensitive access data
- Prepare, update, and manage documentation including business cases, process maps, and records relevant to system deployment
- Provide back-up coverage for business systems team members to maintain project continuity
- Lead the development and deployment of user training programs, including manuals and Standard Operating Procedures tailored for rail and capital project contexts
- Gather and validate business process requirements across departments including access control, safety, and field operations
- Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including test script development, execution tracking, and feedback consolidation
- Collaborate closely with senior Business System Implementation resources to align deliverables with business needs and project objectives
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while adapting to evolving project timelines and stakeholder expectations
- Working Conditions:
- Hybrid
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PMIS Application, Implementation and Configuration
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management, Engineering or equivalent
- Holding a recognized Project Management certification (CAPM) is considered a strong asset BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6, and EcoSys experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Equipped to work independently and as part of a team
