Position: Full-Time Style Advisor

Role Overview:

We are looking for an extroverted, motivated, and passionate Full-Time Style Advisor with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, passionate about fashion, and wants to genuinely create relationships and help customers. They will excel in customer service, sales strategies, and creating lasting relationships with clients while selling and working with integrity. This role involves engaging with customers both in-person and outreach, showcasing our curated collection, anticipating customers wants and needs, and representing Genuine Design with professionalism and authenticity. This is an on-site role based in Inglewood, Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored styling advice
• Ability to drive sales by actively engaging customers, demonstrating product knowledge, making recommendations , and upselling
• Achieve and exceed personal and store sales goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, recording personal details for future engagement
• Represent Genuine Design positively inside and outside the store, including networking and community engagement
• Assist with stock management, visual merchandising, and store organization
• Enforce loss prevention measures and uphold store policies
• Collaborate effectively with team members to reach sales goals and improve the overall customer experience
• Promote our brand’s story and sustainable mission to customers
• Support local marketing initiatives, including distributing business cards and participating in events

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in fashion (serving also considered)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong sales and personal selling ability with a goal-oriented mindset and a track record
• Ability to build genuine, quality, long-term relationships with clients
• Knowledge of fashion trends and ability to style both Men & Women
• Strong organizational skills and reliable time management
• Must be able to speak clearly and write in English professionally, other languages are an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education and/or industry-related designations are a bonus
• Extroverted, a passion for getting to know people, and network
• Existing network or client book is a strong asset and will be given priority
• Availability to work weekends and weekdays
