We're looking for someone like you to provide excellent customer service through communicating the claims process and creating expectations that lead to peace of mind and confidence for the policy holder.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Report to the Supervisor, Claims Care Team.
  • Answering and responding to claims inquiries, claim intake and managing each claim to closure through various channels.
  • Responsible for rental management, total loss and cash settlements, processing payments, subrogation, and some administration tasks.
  • Adhering to the claims handling practices in accordance to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure claims handling practices adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You have a high school diploma.
  • You demonstrate service excellence.
  • You have excellent telephone and computer skills.
  • Your ability to communicate is equally matched by your excellent telephone etiquette and professionalism.
  • You have a willingness to pursue ongoing education within Insurance.
  • You'll get bonus points if you have knowledge of claims procedures and/or insurance policies.

AMA is a multi-service organization representing 1 million Albertans. While most often known for our roadside assistance program, we also offer travel, registries and insurance services, Alberta’s largest driver education school, a member rewards program and member events in our communities. Part of the CAA and AAA family, we’re focused on our member’s needs and guided by their values to provide products, services and advocacy to help them live confidently.
