The Role:
Join the team at The****Adara Hotel, a boutique property in the heart of Whistler Village. We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and comfort for every guest. This role involves cleaning guest rooms and common areas, restocking amenities, and ensuring our spaces are spotless and welcoming. Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms to a high standard, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, and floors.
- Change and replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other in-room amenities as needed.
- Inspect room conditions and report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, trolleys, and storage areas.
- Clean public and common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells as assigned.
- Restock supplies and ensure guest rooms are fully stocked and guest-ready.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
- Coordinate with other team members to address guest concerns and ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures.
- Other duties as reasonably directed.
Qualifications:
- This role does not include staff housing; applicants should have accommodation arranged in the Sea to Sky region.
- Availability Wednesday – Sunday.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset but not required - full training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Friendly, polite, and professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks (e.g., lifting linen, vacuuming, making beds).
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to multitask and work well independently or as part of a team.

- $21 - $23 hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
