Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid)
In this position, you’ll be based in the Toronto office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. If you have a remote location recorded in Fusion this arrangement will continue to be honoured if you are successful in your application, provided that:

We’re embarking on an exciting new phase in the expansion of our Procurement target operating model and we’re looking for talented individuals to be part of the journey. These changes will enhance the capability of Computershare’s global Procurement teams. Our ambition is to create a function that is proactively called upon by the business to enable growth while reducing cost and managing risk.
To support our vision for the Procurement function, we are building new capabilities in our CoE of which this role will be part of. These capabilities will cover sourcing and contracting, data analytics and reporting, systems and process improvements, as well as third-party risk management and vendor management activities.
At Computershare, the Procurement function plays a critical role in supporting all business units and functions across our global operations. This team is responsible for purchasing support and strategic negotiation with third-party suppliers to ensure the organization has the goods and services it needs to operate efficiently and effectively. The Sourcing & Contracting Manager, within our Centre of Excellence (CoE), operates at a global level and is expected to deliver results that meet strict internal standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Success in this role requires delivery within agreed timeframes, maintaining high quality standards throughout the process. Working collaboratively with global teams, the Sourcing & Contracting Manager supports continuous improvement initiatives and project-based activities. A key responsibility of the role is to lead mid- to tail-end tactical sourcing efforts, including support for specific categories where spend may fall below strategic thresholds.

The manager will engage with business units and global category teams to fully understand their needs and develop the most appropriate sourcing strategies. This involves identifying potential suppliers based on preferred vendor lists, supplier capabilities, and specific business requirements. The role leads and oversees the entire RFx process—from setup to supplier evaluation—ensuring clarity in criteria, prompt resolution of supplier queries, and smooth facilitation of the event.
Supplier shortlisting and negotiation are critical elements, with the manager ensuring alignment to project goals while maximizing value for money for Computershare. The individual will also take the lead in drafting, reviewing, and executing a range of contractual documents including contracts, amendments, addendums, and change orders, all while ensuring adherence to legal and organizational standards. This position includes the management of a team of five or more professionals and is key to maintaining operational excellence and delivering procurement value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting internal and external analyses and engage effectively with stakeholders to determine optimum sourcing initiatives to drive savings.
- Negotiate commercial contract terms & fees with 3rd parties to secure the goods and services that most appropriately identify the needs of the internal stakeholders whilst ensuring value for money, compliance with relevant policy and procurement legislation and generating cashable and non-cashable efficiencies throughout the life of the contract.
- Provide commercial and market intelligence to internal key stakeholders to support business goals and decision making.
- Collaborate with CoE team on third Party Risk Management, legal team and other SME’s to ensure compliance while negotiating contractual terms with supplier
- Keep abreast of Category Market intelligence, trends and supplier landscape
- Measure and monitor KPI's, Supply Level Agreements and continuous improvement for category through regular reviews with critical/strategic suppliers and stakeholders, as well as maintaining a preferred supplier list.

Required:
- Minimum 10+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Category Management experience
- Project management qualification – or significant experience in this field Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Operations or related area with post-graduate degree preferred
- Industry certification such as BPM, CPBL, FCIPS, CIPS, IACCM or CPSM, or Six-sigma-certification.
