About the role

**Lotus Group is proud to partner with one of Western Canada’s largest third-party logistics (3PL) providers as they search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing Calgary-based team.

Our client offers customized warehousing, logistics, and distribution solutions, built on a strong foundation of client relationships and operational excellence. They manage some of the industry’s most complex supply chains with a client-first approach that delivers both cost savings and efficiencies.

This is a key role that will work closely with operations and customer service, driving new business growth while supporting strategic initiatives and expanding market presence.

ales efforts and deliver new business revenue across target verticals • Respon

d to incoming leads, RFPs, and quotes; ensure strategic alignment with financial goals • Proact

ively identify and pursue new business opportunities regionally and nationally • Delive

r creative, customized service proposals to improve sales close ratios • Identi

fy opportunities for market or service expansion; present business cases to leadership • Develo

p strong client relationships and represent the company externally • Collab

orate with VP of Business Development and Operations on client onboarding • Mainta

in CRM and ensure timely, accurate reporting • Partic

ipate in budget planning, sales forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives • Conduc

t quarterly client reviews and contribute to strategic planning • Attend

trade shows and networking events to strengthen market presence • Develo

p and execute growth strategies to support 10% annual revenue growth

🔹 **Role Requirements • Post-s

econdary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field • Minimu

m 7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in 3PL warehousing or logistics • Proven

ability to build strong client relationships and deliver strategic sales solutions • Strong

communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels • Skille

d in interpreting financial data, market research, and business development tactics • Profic

iency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools • Experi

ence working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations • A comb

ination of education and experience may be considered
