We are seeking an In-service Repairs – Stress (DTA) Engineer to contribute advanced stress analysis and damage tolerance expertise to support aircraft structural repair initiatives. This role requires deep technical proficiency in metallic aircraft structures, regulatory compliance, and analytical tools. You will be responsible for assessing and validating repairs, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards, and contributing to structural integrity and passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- expert knowledge in stress analysis for metallic repairs on commercial aircraft structures
- Perform Damage Tolerance Analyses (DTA) to support aircraft fleet operations
- Develop, prepare, and review detailed stress analysis reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective structural repair solutions
- Provide technical updates and input for Aircraft Structural Repair Publication (SRP) and Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP)
Technical Profile:
- 8+ years of stress analysis experience in aerospace, including 3+ years in DTA of aircraft primary structures
- 3+ years of aircraft/airframe repair engineering experience
- Expertise in metallic structure analysis and regulatory frameworks (Transport Canada familiarity is a plus)
- Proficiency with NASGRO (required); GOLIHAT experience is an asset
- Competency in interpreting repair drawings; CATIA V5 is an asset
- MS Office proficiency; Visual Basic coding is an asset
Functional Profile:
- Strong judgment, accountability, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, design, and regulatory teams
- Experience working with technical documentation and updates
- Bilingualism (English required; French an asset)
- Must be located within driving distance of Mirabel, Quebec, and able to work onsite 3 days/week (hybrid flexibility available based on manager discretion)

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $37.37/hour - $58.39/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
