Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data and Analytics, the Data Strategy and Solutions Analyst plays an important role in supporting the future of data analytics at East Coast Credit Union. This role is responsible for helping to deliver tactical and strategic data initiatives that align with business goals and drive operational value.

You would…

  • Support the execution of the organization’s data and analytics strategy by contributing to cross-functional projects and reporting efforts

  • Help promote the adoption of business intelligence (BI) and analytics tools through user support, documentation, and performance metrics.

  • Assist in integrating data from multiple sources to improve consistency, accessibility, and usability across systems.

  • Provide guidance to internal users on best practices for data use and analytics tools to build confidence and capability across the organization.

  • Support Data & Analytics initiatives by assisting with project tracking, coordination, documentation, and communication.

  • Help foster a culture of data-driven innovation through education, collaboration, and accessible reporting.

  • Assist in evolving the Credit Union’s data infrastructure to meet growing analytics and reporting needs.

  • Work with IT and business partners to support the integration of new data platforms and tools, ensuring alignment with data governance strategies.

  • Support day-to-day data management practices to ensure accuracy, flow, and compliance across multiple systems.

  • Help monitor and maintain data quality and consistency, including the management of legacy systems and datasets.

  • Represent the Data & Analytics team in internal events, external forums, and cross-functional committees.

  • Complete other projects and duties as required.

You have…

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, preferably in the financial industry; or an equivalent combination of training and related work experience.

You are…

  • Proficient with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, as well as data management platforms including SQL, Azure, and Snowflake.
  • Well-versed in data governance, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring responsible and compliant data use across the organization.
  • Experienced in project and change management, with a proven ability to drive a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to establish effective working relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in relationship management, with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong partnerships with external vendors and partners.
