Responsibilities and Duties:
To work mostly on high-rise and some low-rise buildings in the GTA area, with the use of a swing stage, bosuns chair, hydraulic equipment, and ladders, mainly to perform window cleaning, as well as pressure cleaning, waterproofing, building repairs and maintenance, caulking and metal cleaning. The role as a window cleaner is done both alone or with one or two other co-workers, depending on the current job site.
Description of Duties:
High rise exterior cleaning includes Window cleaning, pressure washing Completing assigned tasks safely and on schedule Maintaining and inspecting equipment Setting up of equipment, meeting safety standards Participate in the daily operations and safety meetings Dealing with clients in a professional manner Being able to work as part of a team Outdoor work Positive, honest, hardworking reliable, courteous and respectful Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract.
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.):
- Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
- Suspended access training
- Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Certification
- Working at heights training
Experience:
- Working at heights: 1 year
- Swing stage: 1 year
- Bosuns chair: 1 year
- Rope access: 1 year
