About the role
We are looking for a talented and versatile Web Designer/Developer to help bring our website to life.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for clean, artful design and a solid understanding of user experience and interface best practices. You’ll be responsible for creating UX/UI wireframes and converting them into a beautiful, intuitive, and fully responsive web experience.
This role blends creativity with technical skill, and you'll work closely with our team to build a site that’s as functional as it is visually engaging.
Project Details:
- Type: Freelance / Remote
- To start August 2025
- Please note, you’d be responsible for providing your own hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, responsive websites from concept to final deliverable.
- Generate original, user-friendly web design concepts that simplify complex challenges.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and site maps to communicate design strategies and interactions.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to define requirements, project scope, and solutions.
- Present and defend design decisions to team members and executive stakeholders.
- Implement and uphold design guidelines, best practices, and web standards.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Troubleshoot and test web functionality to ensure performance, reliability, and compatibility.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Web Designer or Web Developer with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design techniques
- Experience with WordPress, PHP, jQuery, Git, and command-line tools (CLI)
- Skilled in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards
- Ability to translate mockups and business requirements into functional websites
- Familiarity with performance optimization and cross-platform adaptation
- Experience using VS Code or similar development environments
