Reporting to the Centralized Support Manager and working closely with the four branch service managers, this position will primarily be responsible for effective Centralized Warranty Processes and expanding and maintaining Western Tractor’s system of standard job-times for customer and warranty jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all parts and service warranty claims are recognized, submitted on time and properly presented. This will include tracking warranty expiry dates, returned and denied claims as well as appealing of short paid claims.

• Review all warranty claims and participate hands-on in preparing and submitting large or unusual claims. This will include closing warranty work orders.

• Develop standardized and detailed descriptions for common warranty repairs that can be used routinely by all branches.

• Follows-up on unpaid (aged) warranty claims to ensure no deadlines are missed.

• Works with service managers to ensure there are no expired PIP’s

• Maintain current knowledge on warranty regulations and coverage; the “go-to” person for sales, parts and service departments for warranty advice.

• Work collaboratively with branch service managers, supervisors and service writers to create additional standard job times that can be used by all branches – for both warranty and non-warranty jobs.

• Update existing Job-Times (including pre-delivery and setup times) as conditions dictate.

• Responsible for administration of digital inspections and oil samples

• Participate in additional projects under consideration. This will include an assessment of a centralized system of centralized trucking, centralized work order closing, in house warranty training, etc.

• Builds and promotes a strong “Team and One Enterprise”

• Other duties as assigned by management
