Job Description
As a Physical Therapist (Physiotherapist) in the Complex Rehabilitation Support program, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and education to clients with complex rehabilitation needs. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, including exercise programs and manual therapy techniques.
- Educate clients and their families about rehabilitation processes and self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex rehabilitation clients.
- Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Other Relevant Details
- This position may require some evening and weekend work.
