Job Description
As a Care Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents in a community setting. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers.
- Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a long-term care or retirement community.
- Knowledge of resident care practices and procedures.
Additional Information
- This position is part-time and may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
