About the role

Job Description

As a Care Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents in a community setting. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting residents with mobility and transfers.
  • Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a long-term care or retirement community.
  • Knowledge of resident care practices and procedures.

Additional Information

  • This position is part-time and may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
