Specific Accountabilities:
- Responds to all general inquiries received through the EarlyON Office - in-person, email, Teams, Facebook and EarlyON Website;
- Updates and posts information on ONEHSN, Facebook and the EarlyON website;
- Assists community partners with room booking requests, within the EarlyON system;
- Maintains and updates the EarlyON filing system, work order requests, supplies;
- Assists staff, students and volunteers with completing documents;
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
About the Position:
This is a temporary, part-time support staff position replacing a bargaining unit employee. This position will start asap and end in July 2026. Working 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $23.30, reporting to the Manager, EarlyON Child and Family Centre.
This role is responsible for being the initial point of contact between families, staff and community partners at the EarlyON Centre.
Qualifications:
- Two-year post-secondary Office Administration Diploma;
- Two years practical work experience with word processing and database management combined with one year of customer service experience;
- Knowledge of Colleague and myLambton would be an asset;
- Aware of the importance of and displays skill in providing timely and exemplary customer service to internal and external customers;
- Ability to be tactful and use good judgement and problem solving skills in dealing with client inquiries and concerns;
- High level of initiative, enthusiasm and creativity; along with a strong aptitude for detail and accuracy;
- Computer fluency in Microsoft Office word processing; spreadsheet, database and email programs;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
- A collaborative team player who takes personal accountability to deliver on what is expected in your role and you strive for excellence every day:
