Your new role
As a Technical Lead – Business Intelligence with a strong focus on Tableau , you will play a critical role in the development, administration, and advancement of enterprise-wide BI solutions. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable Tableau dashboards, ensure platform performance, and guide the BI team in delivering high-impact analytics solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Business Solutions Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and identify architectural patterns.
- Designing and developing system integrations and business intelligence solutions, with a focus on Tableau.
- Leading technical design sessions and creating reference documentation for development teams.
- Providing hands-on support in dashboard development, Tableau Cloud administration, and performance optimization.
- Ensuring solutions align with long-term technical strategies and security standards.
- Guiding and mentoring team members and external vendors during solution development and implementation.
- Staying current with industry best practices and recommending new technologies, frameworks, and patterns.
What you'll need to succeed
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum 7 years of application software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience architecting and designing business intelligence solutions.
- Deep expertise in Tableau development, administration, and operations.
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and distributed systems.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and BI infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
