IT Support Analyst

We are seeking a Technology Analyst to join our IT team and play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of internal technology infrastructure. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and provide end-to-end support across systems, devices, and collaborative platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and daily operations of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring both functionality and security across users and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize helpdesk tickets; resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation: IT procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base content.
  • Support IT project execution, including system migrations and software rollouts.
  • Educate and train end-users on IT best practices and system use.

Microsoft 365 Administration:

  • Manage user accounts, group memberships, and license assignments in Microsoft 365.
  • Oversee Exchange administration: mailboxes, calendars, distribution lists, meeting rooms, and backups.
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint, Teams, Teams Phone System, and OneDrive environments.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint libraries and collaborative hubs in line with internal standards.
  • Administer and develop on the Nintex Workflow platform to replace manual processes and legacy systems.
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support for workflow tools and platforms.

System Performance & Security:

  • Apply critical security patches and updates; respond quickly to cybersecurity events.
  • Conduct system performance testing and debugging to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain backups, data retention protocols, and system recovery processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-level issues to support business continuity.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft 365/Office 365 administration at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain M365-based applications and environments.
  • Skilled in PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Teams Phone System, and related M365 tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • High degree of self-motivation with a collaborative team mindset.
  • Project management experience; able to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and customer service orientation.
  • Understanding of privacy standards and data security protocols.
