Research Assistant for a Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation awarded research project, entitled: Supporting Saskatchewan Youth in Care: Building Better Pathways Through Post-Secondary Education at the Child Trauma Research Centre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Conducting information syntheses;
  • Communicating via e-mail with research participants and team members;
  • Participating in team meetings;
  • Survey creation
  • Co-conducting focus groups and interviews;
  • Co-authoring policy papers and report;

The successful applicant will have a commitment to resilience-based research to support children, youth, families, and practitioners.

The successful applicant will be a Master’s student in the Faculty of Education, preferably with classroom K-12 teaching experience.

The successful applicant will be able to speak experientially to their engagement with children and youth in marginalized and marginalizing contexts, and to their engagement specifically with Indigenous students.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Casual Work Hours

5 hours/week
