Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Backend Engineers (Python) to join our client's team at Toronto Downtown. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic environment, contributing to critical backend systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python.
· Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
· Integrate and manage data storage solutions including MySQL.
· Implement messaging systems; RabbitMQ is preferred.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver backend solutions.
· Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker for development and deployment.
Required Skills:
· Strong hands-on experience with Python
· Proficient in MySQL
· Experience with message queues (MQ) – RabbitMQ preferred
· Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
· Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments
Nice to Have:
· Exposure to other messaging systems or container orchestration tools
· Experience working in agile development environments
