At Sidekick, our mission is to accelerate the recovery journey for people dealing with chronic injuries. Our award-winning physical therapy tools are trusted by Olympic medalists, pro athletes, and featured in outlets like Men’s Health , Running Magazine , and Ultrarunning Magazine .
As we scale, we’re looking for a creative Social Media Manager who’s ready to take the next step and grow into a Creative Strategist . You’ll bring your experience managing and creating content for social media, and we’ll provide the mentorship and training to help you develop into someone who can craft and lead full ad campaigns that drive performance.
We need someone who can take products and physiotherapy concepts and turn them into visuals that make benefits instantly clear. For example, to show how soft an insole is, you might drop a bowling ball on it to make the benefit obvious. If you can create ideas like this and develop them into attention-grabbing campaigns while learning strategy and performance-driven advertising, this role is for you.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has strong creative instincts and a proven track record of making engaging social content
- Has experience with direct response marketing or paid social
- Is eager to learn how to build high-performing ad creatives, analyze results, and scale what works
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop original video ad concepts and storyboards that cut through the noise
- Write compelling scripts and creative briefs for content creators, editors, and designers
- Support and coordinate video/photo shoots – from scripting to shot planning and reviewing raw footage
- Use customer research and product strategy to inform your creative ideas
- Support content sourcing by working with creators and influencers
- Help manage organic social content
Success in 3 Months
- You’ve delivered high-performing ads that show measurable improvement in results
- You own the creative process, proactively solving problems and increasing efficiency
- You consistently bring fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to our weekly brainstorms
If you’re strong here, you’ll grow quickly. This role is designed to evolve into a Creative Strategist role where you’ll lead contribute directly to brand and revenue growth.
About You
- Social Media Experience: 3+ years creating and managing content for social media (DTC or eCommerce experience is a plus)
- Creative Visualizer: You find unique ways to make complex ideas easy to understand and memorable, turning benefits into visuals people instantly grasp
- Knows How to Capture Attention: You understand how story, pacing, and imagery come together to grab attention
- Understands Video: You’ve created engaging video content and know what makes social posts and ads perform well
- Growth-Oriented: You are proactive, fast-moving, and eager to grow into a role where you help shape full ad campaigns
- Collaborative: You work well with creators, editors, and other team members to bring ideas to life
