About the role

Position

Louis Vuitton Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy and shrink reduction initiatives within our distribution center operations based in Mississauga, ON. This role will work closely with internal teams and our third-party logistics (3PL) provider to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, support shrink investigations, and drive process improvements that ensure inventory integrity and operational efficiency.

Job responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitor and analyze daily trends and reports to identify inventory variances, trends, and areas of risk related to shrink
  • Track and report on distribution center shrink performance and supporting financial month-end reconciliation
  • Support with exception management and providing guidance to 3PL on resolutions
  • Assist in conducting root cause analyses and collaborate with 3PL partners to develop corrective action plans to minimize future shrink
  • Review operational workflows and propose process improvements to reduce errors in receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping
  • Oversee quarterly cycle count progress and inventory accuracy
  • Support with external and internal audit preparations as needed
  • Maintain documentation of inventory processes and findings in accordance with internal controls and audit standards

Your financial acumen will ensure that our reconciliation and audit processes are accurate and compliant. Your ability to spot inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions will be essential in streamlining operations and driving process improvements. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate seamlessly with our 3PL partner and internal teams, fostering a cohesive work environment.
