The AppScan Sales Specialist is an exciting role within HCL’s fast growing software business. In this role, the candidate will collaborate routinely with Clients, Resellers, Client directors, HCL AppScan Technical Advisors, HCL Client Success Teams and HCL Channels teams.
As an HCL AppScan Seller, you will work as a sales leader (Manager) focusing on cyber security for your assigned region/clients and will be responsible for leading sales efforts with clients and prospects, building pipeline and delivering on targets. As part of your responsibility, you will act as a product specialist for your product offerings, and you will be expected to enable, evangelize, market, and direct customers to various solution areas that can solve their business problems. You will be required to act as a complex deal coach and/or executive sponsor on many key opportunities.
In this role, it is essential that you can apply industry specific knowledge and experience to bring new business and technology insights to our clients in the HCL AppScan space. You will be required to maintain an exceptional level of understanding regarding our competition to effectively win in competitive situations.
What you will be doing
- Sales & Solutioning
Market analysis and building the sales strategy
Build solution around AppScan and create GTM motion
Managing the sales Cycle from Demand creation to Negotiation to close to post-sales support
Collaborate and Coordinate with the Tech Advisors, PS Team, CEE, PM, PE teams,
collaborate with Client Directors, Business Partner team and larger ecosystems for business build
Responsible for customer satisfaction, NPS Score for accts.
Responsible for Renewals and services
- Sales Operations
Create Market Demand and close the Sales Cycle
Maintaining CRM opportunities and deal forecasting, reporting
- Marketing Enablement
Collaborate with Marketing teams across geos
Market research on Trends, Price matrix
Competition tracking, creating Comp Kill
What we need from you
Qualifications
- Must be a Canadian Citizen
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
- Must reside in one of the three territories: Ontario
Experience Level and skills
- 12+ yrs in Tech+ software sales Execution Model in Ontario
- 5+ years’ Experience with Security Software Products GTM Strategy & Execution
- Enterprise Security Software from Competitors such Synopsys, Veracode, SNYK, Checkmarx, Qualys, Rapid7, Burp Suite, Fortify
- Experience in creating and managing Partner Channel
- Experience in a market leadership position
- Managing direct C suites Interactions
