Peaskie Minerals is a premier supplier of domestically sourced proppants and silica flour to the West Central Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). Our facility is located approximately 12 km north of Redwater or a 45-minute drive from north Edmonton.
Please note this is NOT a camp position. Candidates must live in the area or be willing to commute.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with IT to set up and manage a well-structured SharePoint site from the ground up, leveraging advanced knowledge of site architecture, user permissions, document libraries, and data to ensure effective organization, collaboration, and information governance.
- Establish and maintain document control procedures and processes that align with regulatory and organizational requirements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of documentation across all departments.
- Manage the lifecycle of controlled documents, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archive, while utilizing document management software effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant document submissions and responses to regulatory agencies.
- Create and maintain proper file locations for all departments including processes to assist in organization of files and access to required documents.
- Conduct regular audits of document control processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide training and support for employees regarding new software, document control policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of documentation, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the latest versions.
- Implement and manage document tracking systems to monitor revisions, approvals, and distribution.
- Scanning, indexing, quality-checking, and organizing documents to ensure a smooth and accurate migration into a cloud-based SharePoint document management system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or similar field considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in document control or related roles in a regulated industry.
- Advanced working knowledge of SharePoint required.
- Knowledge of data management practices and electronic document systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word for documentation purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of document control practices, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Certification in Document Control or Quality Management considered an asset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and ethical conduct
