Why this role is important?
We are hiring a Senior Brand Manager, Beauty/HBA. Reporting directly to Senior Director, Beauty - the incumbent manages the sourcing, onboarding, and implementation of new National and Exclusive brands to increase market penetration, drive sales and profitability.

This position requires high level understanding of the current Health and Beauty industry and trends plus advanced level of initiative and sound judgment to organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects.

Requires specialized interpersonal skills for negotiations, we well as conflict resolution.

Provides solutions by using creative approaches where constructive thinking are required.

Utilizes collaborative decision-making skills to achieve specific organizational objectives.

Sound understanding of competitive market, trends and brand positioning.

Solid understanding of Health & Beauty marketing, merchandising and omni-channel.

Well versed in cultural, seasonal and economic trends to identify opportunities

Strong analytical skills, using various data to support tactical decisions.

Able to communicate effectively with clarity, in one on one or group situations.

Adaptable to new network systems, standard operating procedures, and change in general.

Strong presentation skills to communicate business case, business updates and proposals.

Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Education & Job Knowledge:
- Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field.
- Knowledge and experience with Nielsen market share data preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Trend Services/Publications (WGSN, Beautystreams, Stylus)
- Exposure and experience with industry Trade Shows (Cosmoprof, The Makeup Show, ECRM)
- Experience in competitive & trend market shops (Canada, USA, International)
Experience:
5+ years in brand or category management, or equivalent experience preferably in Health and Beauty industry or retailer.
