Job Title: IT & Help Desk Support Coordinator
Location: Hanover, Ontario
Job Type: long term contract
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT & Help Desk Support Coordinator to handle day-to-day technical support needs for our Hanover and Timmins locations. You’ll be the go-to person for resolving IT issues or coordinating with external IT teams when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT and Help Desk requests
- Troubleshoot basic network, hardware, and software issues
- Set up laptops and assist with onboarding new users
- Coordinate with external IT teams for complex issues
- Support tasks like Wi-Fi outages, firewall updates, and security pass resets
- Communicate updates clearly to team members
Requirements:
- Experience in IT support or help desk role preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of networking, Windows, and Office 365
- Willingness to learn and provide hands-on support
