About the role
Key Responsibilities
Key Partner Management
- Manage relationships with brokers, distributors, banners, and merchandising teams within your assigned territory.
- Serve as the main point of contact for field-related partnerships.
Promotional Plan Development & Execution
- Collaborate with the broker to build and implement strategic promotional plans.
- Plan and oversee in-store marketing activities.
Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Produce detailed monthly performance reports for your territory.
- Analyze POS data and category trends to optimize sales and identify new opportunities.
Store Visits & Merchandising Execution
- Conduct regular store visits, especially during launches or planogram changes.
- Ensure compliance with pricing, shelf placement, and display visibility.
Customer Service & Continuous Improvement
- Address client issues efficiently and proactively.
- Provide actionable insights to continuously improve territory performance.
Commercial Agreement Management
- Negotiate or review agreements with key accounts and head offices, in line with company policies, including:
- Retail support programs
- Promotional and display allowances
- Shelf and off-shelf product placement
- New product launches
- Pricing policy compliance
Merchandising Team Coordination
- Ensure clear communication and follow-up with merchandising teams to maximize impact at retail.
Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory, including special projects.
CRM & Client Database Updates
- Keep client records up to date and complete.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in field sales or territory management within the CPG industry (food or natural products is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with solid analytical abilities
- Autonomous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the territory
