About the role

Key Responsibilities

Key Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with brokers, distributors, banners, and merchandising teams within your assigned territory.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for field-related partnerships.

Promotional Plan Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with the broker to build and implement strategic promotional plans.
  • Plan and oversee in-store marketing activities.

Performance Tracking & Analysis

  • Produce detailed monthly performance reports for your territory.
  • Analyze POS data and category trends to optimize sales and identify new opportunities.

Store Visits & Merchandising Execution

  • Conduct regular store visits, especially during launches or planogram changes.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, shelf placement, and display visibility.

Customer Service & Continuous Improvement

  • Address client issues efficiently and proactively.
  • Provide actionable insights to continuously improve territory performance.

Commercial Agreement Management

  • Negotiate or review agreements with key accounts and head offices, in line with company policies, including:
  • Retail support programs
  • Promotional and display allowances
  • Shelf and off-shelf product placement
  • New product launches
  • Pricing policy compliance

Merchandising Team Coordination

  • Ensure clear communication and follow-up with merchandising teams to maximize impact at retail.

Market Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory, including special projects.

CRM & Client Database Updates

  • Keep client records up to date and complete.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in field sales or territory management within the CPG industry (food or natural products is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven with solid analytical abilities
  • Autonomous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the territory
