Account Transfer Associate How does the role impact the organization? This role provides support to the branches and is responsible for ensuring client assets are received to or delivered from their Raymond James Account(s).

What will your role be responsible for?

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries for Account Transfers;
  • Review and verify client information on transfer documents;
  • Initiate the processing of new transfer documents, both ATON and non-ATON and related duties;
  • Investigate and resolve rejected transfer issues;
  • Follow up on and complete pending transfers; and
  • Deposit cheques and update records accordingly.

What do we expect from you?

  • Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of securities industry and/or banking compliance;
  • Previous experience with CDS and Arrow as related to ATON and CDSX, and other systems such as DTC and FundSERV; and
  • Dataphile application or a similar software (ie. ADP, ISM, etc.), as related to account transfers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications.
  • Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
  • Demonstrate email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;
  • Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization;
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Communicate proficiently in French is an asset; and
  • Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of industry related experience; and
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $50,000-60,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
