Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician with at least 3 years of experience in Quickbooks Software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, account analysis, and reconciliation. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Good to have experience in a Construction Company
• Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary data and insights.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero for data entry and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as required by management.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
• Maintain organized records of all financial documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

Skills

• Proficient in accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
• Knowledge of budgeting principles and practices.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Familiarity with financial services terminology and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
