Temporary Administrative Associate - Peterborough
About the role
Temporary Administrative Associate - (In-person role Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for 4 to 8 weeks)
CBI Home Health is currently seeking a Temporary Administrative Associate based in Peterborough Region. As a key member of our team, the Administrative Associate will use knowledge and experience to support the timely and accurate execution of processes related to the Personal Support Services in the Home Health Program in Peterborough, and also be the face and voice of this accredited, innovative community health care organization providing high-quality services throughout the region.
PRIMARY DUTIES
As an Administrative Associate, you will:
- Greet staff and clients and assist as necessary
- Utilize the scheduling system as required
- File charts, reports, and other correspondence when necessary
- Check incoming faxes regularly
- Ordering and tracking various office supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assemble PPE Packages
- Assist team with program requirements and other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with Mobility Assistant to support timely provisioning of equipment to staff at Orientation
- Conduct administrative support tasks and processes as needed to ensure operational efficiency such as verification of invoices, producing invoices for clients
- Engage with new hires and employees by welcoming to orientation, education sessions and meetings.
- Connect with new field staff at 30, 60 90 day touchpoints to enhance their onboarding experience
- Assist field staff with form requests, PPE distribution, and general questions
- Back up Medical Testing – training to be provided for this function
What you will need to be successful
- 1-2 years’ experience in a reception or customer service role
- Medical knowledge and/or medical background considered an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A professional customer service attitude
- A creative approach with a can-do attitude
- Effective problem-solving skills
