We ’ re looking for a Production Team Leader to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie, Alberta. Our mill is undergoing an exciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press which will make us the most modern mill in North America .
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Completion of grade 12.
- Completion of post-secondary education is an asset .
- Completion of a supervisory or leadership certificate , an asset .
- 3 - 5 years experience within a manufacturing setting, with wood products manufacturing preferred .
- 2 - 3 years experience leading a team .
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word , Excel, and Outlook.

As a team leader, you have the ability to find solutions and meet goals and know how to optimize productivity and recovery.

When it comes to safety, you lead by example and set the bar for those around you by inspiring and coaching your team.

re resourceful when it comes to meeting production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels .

You use your solid knowledge of OSB manufacturing and eye for detail to identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues.

Your organizational, planning and strong communication skills ensure that you and your team are ready for any challenges that come your way.

You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and are comfortable using them on the job.

You'll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, plus an additional northern allowance. The expected base salary range for this position is $79,500 - $106,000 per year.
