About the Role

As a Rental Account Executive/ Manager for the Canadian market , your dual role within Summit Fleet is that of account management and new business development. This role combines both inside and outside business-to-business sales efforts. Your focus is to build and maintain successful long-term relationships with Summit Fleet's commercial Rental

clients , while continuing to grow the account base. Your ability to under promise and over deliver will help ensure perpetual retention of Summit's clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain a pipeline of qualified vehiclerental prospects
• Present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with commercial rental clients
• Maintain and share knowledgeof competitors in the market
• Communicate with Summit clientsupport staff regularly
• Participate in ongoing Summit sales trainingand industry productlearning
• Maintain a database of qualified prospects within Summit’s CRM - Salesforce
• Regional travel may be required

Qualifications

• We need the right personality for the job, someone who can work with a team and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Post-Secondary educationwith business/financial degreeis preferred
• Minimum 2 years of successful historyin a commercial vehicle rentalsales or account management role
• Strong written,oral, and presentation skills are required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
• Knowledge of commercial rental vehicle industry, and rental fleet management practices is an asset
• Experience using Salesforce is an asset
• Rentals, fleet or dealership experience is an asset
