Andrew Sheret Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Wages may be scaled with relevant experience and/or education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Accurately enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely approvals
- Prepare and process EFT and cheque payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
- Monitor discount opportunities.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Assists with special projects and ad hoc work when operationally needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (SAP) is an asset
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
